Procter & Gamble’s (Cincinnati, OH) pet care brand Eukanuba has developed a line of breed-specific formulas focusing on five of the top seven breeds in the U.S. and a Custom Care lineup for dogs with special health concerns. For dogs with special healthcare needs, the Eukanuba Custom Care line includes: Eukanuba Weight Loss, which provides nutritional support for adult dogs that can benefit from moderate weight loss and contains Eukanuba’s patented carbohydrate blend to optimize body weight and body condition and L-carnitine to help burn fat; Eukanuba Sensitive Skin, which provides nutritional support for adult dogs that may experience dull coat, shedding, dry skin, and non-specific itching, and contains no wheat or corn ingredients that may cause itching and scratching in some dogs with sensitive skin—it is also made with vitamin-rich ocean fish to nourish a dog’s skin and coat; Eukanuba Sensitive Stomach, which is made with a unique blend of FOS and beet pulp fiber for a healthy and balanced intestinal environment and to aid the digestive process; and Eukanuba Healthy Joints, which contains glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate for healthy joints and cartilage support, as well as L-carnitine to optimize weight and minimize joint stress.
